I want to relocate the rear stabilizer jack switch to the curb side of the rear cargo area.  Attempts to fish wires between the existing switch, the living room floor, and the curb side of the cargo area have been unavailing.  It seems like access should be available behind the tail light (actually, back-up light).  Removing the lens and bulb reveals no fasteners in the housing, and gentle prying around the edges with a blade doesn’t seem to budge the reflector housing.  I don’t want to tempt Mr. Murphy by using more force.

Can anyone guide me here?  How does the tail light housing come out?  Or should I seek alternate wiring routes?

Grateful for any advice.  The photo below is accurate:  the “top” designation is at 3:00 position.

Wish I could help you but my former Cameo and current LS has a different type of light.  Good luck.

OK, here is the latest……and its not much.  I went to NAPA and got several fuses to mess with and keep on hand on the road.
With no power (ac/dc) to the RV, I replaced the fuse.  I went inside and pressed and held the slide button down and had my helper turn on
the battery.  The slide moved out about an inch and then stopped as the fuse relay tripped.  It did not ruin the fuse.
Extensive craning of my head behind the basement walls and atop the water tank where there’s a ton wires, I feel like the wires probably go up to the switches from below through the sidewall and NOT across the ceiling.  I hope that is the case anyway.
Next, I’m going to try to wedge myself into the waste can area to do a visual of the slide travel stop switches.
