Hello,
We are looking through the brochure for the 08 year and see some items that are listed as standard. However, the rig we are picking up next week does not appear to have these. It does have some tho….The serial number does not reveal much. And there isn’t any way to determine if the astrofoil was added to the walls…..in the brochure it states it’s a standard feature for the 08. It also states the flush windows are standard, but ours has the sliders. Hummmm. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Brochures don’t necessarily match production runs and the materials will vary during a run.
Check the years before or after if the model was produced for more than 1 year.

You read my mind, so I did that. Read the year prior and the year after. However, the one we are buying was built in June of 2017, and it has SOME of the NEW Standard Features for the 2018 Manufacturing year and missing others. Just wish we knew if it had the Astrofoil “standard” option for the 2008 year, but there is no way to determine. I agree, the brochure can’t be the only determining factor is a feature is built or not. I have attached a file I found somewhere along the trail……Thank you for the reply.

Those built for export to and delivery in Canada may be different than those built for delivery in USA. I can tell you that a 2010 model year with “delux option” that almost all had, built on September 9, 2009 for delivery in USA did not have nor list astrofoil.
There is a fast/easy way to tell. Take the cover off a 110 volt outlet or a 12 volt light switch that is on any outside wall except the slide. If foil is there, it should be obvious.

Well this is odd, I got an email that showed me the reply as follows, but when I log in here, I can’t see the actual reply.
Thank you so much JohnD222 for the reply. When we get the rig home on July 2, the first thing I’m doing is checking out the outlet cover…..I sure hope it does have it, what a lovely bonus that would be, since we live in ours all winter long.
