After 5 years today I decided to check the fluid lever on our Cameo’s Big Foot system, the front jacks are amount empty with the jacks are down. I was looking for the Big Foot manual but only get a 404 error message when I try to open them from the Owners Club section.

Does anyone know what fluid to use, and how much do I add when the jacks are down?

        Thanks for the help.

I will advise you to ONLY add fluid when the jacks are fully retracted. If you add fluid when the jacks are down, when you retract them, the fluid will overflow. It makes a huge mess in the forward basement. Been there done that!
Here is the info on what type of fluid to use in the system as well as how to bleed the system:

Make sure to fill the reservoirs with Dexron III ATF up to ¾” from the top. Do not completely fill or overfill. All that is required on “quad pump” systems is to enter “Manual mode” on your panel, Run all four jacks to full extension (you will hear the pumps whine), leave the system for 15 to 30 minutes, then retract the system. Do not run one jack to full extension and then move to the other, you need to “walk” the jacks up by lifting in pairs, and working back and forth taking care not to damage your trailer by twisting the frame.

“What Hydraulic Fluid do I use? Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF): Dexron II, Dexron III, ATF+4, Mercon, Mercon V”

Here is a link to the Quadra sit: http://www.thebigfootleveler.com/product-manuals.html

        Hope this helps.

Had a major melt down. Will be working on repairing all links on the Owners Club for the next couple of days. My apologies for the inconvenience. Never gets boring around here.
