Howdy To all
Hoping to get some input from members who have installed mud flaps on their tow vehicles in an effort to prevent/limit rock chips or tar splatters to the front of their 5’er
.Did a web search and Dura Flap got solid reviews.
My truck is a stone thrower AKA Dually.
Anyone installed flaps and if so what brand, and how did they work.
Thanks for any and all input.
TerryPosted: 8:14 PM – Jul 03, 2014I went to a local truck supply and bought some on clearance for another truck and cut them to fit. Make sure you go closer to the ground than what they tell you to. I hooked up the 5er and measured to the fenderwell and them made it longer than the instructions…Posted: 6:42 AM – Jul 04, 2014I’ve had duraflaps on my last 2 trucks. They are a well made product and they are easy people to deal with.
Hope that helpsPosted: 8:10 PM – Jul 07, 2014Dura Flaps front and back, easy to install and the work great !Posted: 8:52 PM – Jul 07, 2014I would also recommend RUBBER MUD FLAP LUVERNE 20″Posted: 3:41 PM – Jul 14, 2014
Thanks to all for the suggestions.
I got a smoking deal on some used Dura Flaps that were used 1 season and fit my truck perfectly.
Can’t wait to get some miles on them.
