I recently purchased a new fan to replace the small fan in the bathroom of my 35SB3 .My question can I use regular Dicor self leveling sealant or should I use the 2 part ultra sealant primer and ultra self leveling sealant?

Dicor will work just fine. Make sure you clean the area, where the Dicor will be applied. I used alcohol.

X2 on dicor after it is screwed down. Before screwing down, I use the 3/4 – 1 inch wide putty tape around the perimeter. I think this comes in the box with the fan, but better check.

Also, it does not take great care, but do be careful not to tear or cut the roofing material as you remove the old fan. The old dicor around the edge and sealant underneath kind of oozes apart with a little help from a putty knife. While hard plastic may be preferred, I have found that careful use of a longer flexible metal one works better. All the way around the perimeter from the outside in, then work all the way in from one side, then the next, etc.

        You will love that fan!
