Was able to obtain a non working cord reel with 50 amp cord for $45. Replaced motor and reduction gear for $92, made an electrical connection cover for $3 and installed it in the storage bay. It works great and makes hookup and breakdown a lot easier. That 50 amp cord gets difficult in cold weather.

Wow, I’m jealous!! Been wanting to do that for years, but with the 32FWS, it has to fit into the little door in the back.

You can get them for the back storage area, but they are costly

Nice, neat storage bay. If my OEM reel had been made/installed like yours, I would still be using it. Instead, LS used a wider/shorter unit and installed it in the center of the bay opening. Lousy place to put it.

DW and I are slowly “neating up” our storage bay. Getting more stuff into bins and in a manner that is easier for us to access helps. Bought a plastic circular close basket for the hoses. Will load the cord on top of that.
