CLOC-AdminI’m going to be installing a EMS HW50C this week. My question is the 5er has a transfer switch which I plan on taking out and installing the protector in it’s place.
Is this going to work? We have no plans for an on board generator as we a have 2000 honda.

We installed the same surge protector in our rig 2 years ago – works great. I had to make up a dedicated short extension bonding the neutral wire of the plug for our Honda 2000 to work. Search ‘neutral bonding’ and you can read about it, or call the manufacturer.
