- We are thinking about adding a Samsung residential refrigerator to our Cameo F36fws. Will have to do a little cabinet work but that can be handled. The question I have is if I want to have an inverter installed dedicated strictly to the refrigerator, what size and brand do I buy and do I really need one. We do not ever plan on doing any dry camping.

Inverter with enough wattage to run the fridge should be fine. You will need to check the specs on the Samsung to figure out how big an inverter is needed and whether modified sine wave will work or a true sine wave inverter is needed.Posted: 6:25 PM – Apr 20, 2014I would recommend getting ONLT a PURE SINE inverter. This is the only one that will give you electric power as you have at home. All new appliances have very sensitive electric boards and it it not worth the risk of damaging your refrigerator.
I have a new Lifestyle 38RS and did a lot of research on this and that is why I got the Pure Sine inverter and the Samsung Refrigerator. You will pay more for it but it’s worth it
I hope this will help you
