I’m thinking this summer of replacing the batteries and have been looking at the AGM line. They have a wide range of deep cycle batteries running from just over a $100 to $600. For those that have them which one are you using?

        Thanks.

I have two Optima Blue Top batteries. Had them for about 3 years now, no problems and no maintenance.

I had 4 12 volt Deka AGM batteries in my ’02 Cameo. These batteries were a little over $200.00 each. I liked them a lot as I had to install them in the unvented storage compartment. I also had a 2000 watt Magnum Energy modified sine wave inverter ME 2012. The inverter had a problem with the charging circuit and took the batteries out with it. While I replaced the batteries, I never went back to a Magnum Energy inverter.
I now have 4 Costco golf cart batteries and Xantrex ProWatt 2000SW in the 2011 Cameo f32fws. The setup seems to work well on the few occasions we’ve used it.

We have 4, 6 volt AGM, installed about 2 years ago. I placed 2 in a poly battery box, and the other 2 where the original batteries were installed. They are maintenance free. i occasionally check that the terminals are tight. We have a solar system with a setting for AGM’s, plus our Magnum pure sine inverter/charger. They were probably about $300 each. I like them and glad we did the changeover.

I have used Lifeline 6 volt AGM batteries since 2001. I also use a Xantrex 40 amp battery charger. If you switch to AGM batteries make sure that your charger will meet the charging parameters of the batteries.
