We have a 2010 Cameo 32FWS has anyone added a fantastic fan or AC to the bedroom? I see a lone screw in the middle of the ceiling is this the marker for where to cut through the roof? Also is there 12 volts or 120 prewired there? Thanks Pete

My former Cameo had that in ceiling as well as a prewire for the thermostat. My model had the traditional forward closet and thermostat wiring was in the closet. I don’t know where they would have put it on yours since you don’t have the front closet.

Yes, that screw is the center of the square hole that fits a fan or a/c.  Check your 120 volt A.C. circuit breaker box – it should have a breaker for 2nd A/C (optional).

That hole has wires for 120, 12 volt, and a feed to a remote thermostat for ducted system. The a/c can be ducted (best) or a standalone system.

Choices for a coordinated ducted system with both a/c units are limited with the oem Carrier A/C unit.  But a separate ducted versus stand alone in the bedroom is much better.  With ducted bedroom, except during the heat of the day or immediate cool downs, you can plan where the noise of the a/c fan is.  Not so if the bedroom  a/c unit is not ducted.

                  Peter,

i will search for a string that is relevant to Wifi ranger mounting, and if not, start a new one, and put answers there.
