      Supposedly, my 2014 LS36fw has a built-in water pressure regulator.  I have not seen it nor depend on as I have used a Watts oil-fill gage regulator.  I have it set to 55psi and have it attached at the water inlet on the RV having been told that best protects the RV from higher pressures.

      I have been to a few campground with really high water pressure and am concerned that the pressure between the water supply and the regulator will rise to the point it will rupture the hose.  I actually had it happen back in October.  I saw the same thing happening this past week so I installed the cheapie regulator on the hose bib to reduce the pressure in the hose.  Of course, this reduces the water pressure coming into the rig to a level I’m not thrilled with.

      I’m curious what others are doing to protect high waste pressure.  What kind of regulator you use, set-piont, and what end of the supply hoe you install it on.  Thanks.

        We have been using rv water regulator with gage number of years.

        You can set water pressure going into RV and when hooking to the campground water you check there pressure high or low.

        Only issue is if it freezes it will effect the gage and there expansive depending where you buy it.

          The oem built in regulator is a tiny component within the water inlet.  It restricts pressure but also reduces volume even when pressure is not high.  Best to drill out the restrictor or replace the inlet with full flow  type if you are adding an aftermarket pressure regulator.

            Thanks for the responses.  I’m happy with the pressure with the watts installed at the RV inlet and set to the 55psi .   have had no issues as long as the park has decent pressure.  Its the pressure build up in the hose which seems to worsen when the outside temps are higher and particularly in the hot sun.

              A hose  supplier can make a  hose rated for 150psi.

              There are many types of hose that could be used. Here’s an example
