Bought a used Cameo. Can’t get fridge to fire on AC? Getting a no,co code flashing.

I started following the reset procedures.

Disconnect 12V power leads, AC power, solenoid leads, spark sense electrode, remove cover.

Reconnect 12V leads and now I’m not showing any power on control board and nothing on meter to the leads.

I’ve checked fuses and can’t find a bad fuse. What am I missing? a hidden fuse?

      Please help!

      Thank You

          Hi, John

I started at UTUBE University and found the reset info. The weird thing is…. my wife was vacuuming and tripped a circuit right after I unplugged everything that’s required and removed the cover. So I went and reset the breaker. Came back out to plug 12v back in to start the reset and I had now power. Only thing I can think of is, that when left a wire relaxed and grounded out. I checked fuse block up front but nothing wrong so I was wondering if there was another fuse I’m missing. My wife found this site so I joined hoping for help?

          Thanks Guy

            Guy,

mine has a 12 volt fuse up front, the small fuse on the frig circuit board, and the 120 breaker. I don’t think anything on frig works without 12 volts to the circuit board. But, not certain if the 12 volts is stepped down before or within the circuit board.   the “switched” propane solenoid/igniter relay is definitely a full 12 volts.

If that 12 volt fuse up front is good, there should be 12 volts as it enters the frig compartment.  A separate 12 volt feed comes from the propane on/off indicator light switch by the kitchen sink (near the 120 volt on/off indicator light switch. I think that separate switched 12 volt source is on the same 12 volt fuse up front. you could pull that solenoid switch and test for 12 volts there.

if the 12 volt fuse up front “looks good,” try swapping with another one of the correct size.

vacuuming should not trip a 120 volt 15 amp breaker unless it was on circuit with a coffee pot or other heater and the pot/other heater were on.  Tripping should not impact 12 volts unless the converter/charger in front storage lost its 120 volts so not charging AND battery is dead. If overhead 5er lights work ok (not dim or flickering)  battery should be fine and feeding the 12volt fuse up front.

Not sure what shorting out what would kill 12 volts and not fry the 12 volt fuse up front EXCEPT If 120 hot tried to return to ground via the tiny 12 volt ground wire.  If that happened you should see or certainly smell some burned 12 volt ground wire insulation.  Unsafe if that happened but should not affect 12 volt +.  If that did happen it is unlikely to have broken that ground wire so 12 volts would still have round trip to battery and should work.  If in doubt run a new ground to a solid frame bolt.

            Sorry, No more ideas.

The 12 volts for the frig comes from the battery or the frig would not work unless plugged into shore power.  Just be careful.  The frig has 120 VAC on it too.

The fuse needs to be checked with a ohm meter or replaced with a known good one of the same value.  Bad fuses can look good.

If the vacuum is plugged into an outlet on a GCFI breaker sometimes they can do funny things.  We had one go bad in out trailer and I like to never found out what was wrong. It would trip with nothing plugged in.  You can get a replacement at Lowe’s but they are not cheap.
