Good day, everyone. Newbie here, just purchased our first camper and absolutely love it! Great deal, everything works and it was really well cared for. My stupid question – where is the igniter for the furnace? The hot water igniter is above the sink next to the shower in the bedroom. I have had no issues there. But I cannot find the location of the igniter for the furnace. Any ideas? Thank you.

Congrats on the new RV, I hope you enjoy many of years of travel with it.  Also welcome to the forum, great people here with a lot of knowledge.

I have never seen a separate igniter switch for the furnace.  I may be wrong but I believe the furnace auto ignites when the thermostat activates the furnace.  If the furnace does not automatically  ignite when the thermostat calls for heat the igniter in the furnace might need adjustment or replacement.

If your thermostat is set in heat mode or auto mode, raising the thermo set temp will turn on fan and heat pump if equipped, the propane furnace if no heat pump.  If heat pump, furnace will also turn on at about 45 degrees outside temp when heat pumps become less efficient/useful.  Not sure how to tricks heat pump into thinking it is 45 outside.  For that you probably need to get into the directions  (they are usually on line) for your a/c unit, it’s internal control module and/or thermostat.

If thermostat is set in cool mode raising temp will only turn off the a/c.
