Hi. In 2011 Carri-Lite offered a gas cooktop as an upgrade over the standard electric for the 36XTRM5. Does anyone know the brand/ model # of the upgrade gas cooktop?

I have a 12- 3/8D x 21- 3/8W hole in my corian top and am looking for a small 2 burner gas cooktop to fit.

I found this from a “for sale” 2011 36XTRM5. Just for future reference, LP gas cooktop is:
THETFORD Spinflo Series 920 with a 12V ingnition

If your cut out is 12 3/8″ x 21 3/8″ then your opening is too big for the Thetford 920. Here is the PDF with the cut out dimensions.

You can always get a good Corian installer to weld a matching cover piece of Corian on top and blend away the sharp edge, or keeping that edge if you would prefer.

        Thanks for the responses.

With the THETFORD cutout, I’ve searched for 5-6 hours, called some vendors and can’t find a gas cooktop (at any price, I’d have paid $1,000) that’s the “near same” size or even just a tad bigger. Much bigger isn’t a problem to find, but I don’t want to give up the counter space and don’t want more than 2 burners, so I’m looking for “no bigger than existing”. Oddly, the THEFORD 2011 OEM upgraded gas cooktop isn’t offered in the United States by the manufacturer, despite being on their website. This was confirmed by a local RV dealer who called. I’d buy one if available and I’m not keen on taking the risk that shipping one from Europe to the US would end well. Mostly, I’m concerned that it would not comply in some way creating a liability.

        Here’s my plan :
Remove existing and replace with an Seaward “Princess 2276” manufactured by Whale (marine LP cooktop with a DC ignition system; about $435) using a fabricated corian cover trim piece.

        Existing Amana electric cooktop: hole 21 3/8 x 12 3/8
        Seaward “Princess 2276” 11 3/8 x 20 3/8

        Existing overall top 22 3/4 x 13 3/4
        Seaward Princess 21 x 12

New overall top would fall through the old hole, so I’ll get a custom fabricated trim ring made of corian and punt.

Again, many larger 2-3 burner gas tops would fit just fine, but I like my counter space.

My 2011 Carri has an Amana two burner drop in stove. The drop in portion is 15 x 20. The glass top portion is 16 1/2 x 21 1/2. Seems like it might just cover your 21 3/8 hole.

Is yours electric or gas? Is it a cooktop of does it have an oven below? My existing is an Amana electric.

Propane. Stove top only, no oven. Very nice unit. Electric spark, black glass top.

Thanks. This is new info. Amana discontinued making these but this fellow on Amazon bought some inventory from a failed company and has one left. It does have the benefit of larger burners. It’s very similar in size to a Gormet Princess 2277 by Whale and the Amana is a couple hundred less.

Thanks for the info. Happy trails.
