Was cooking in the convettion oven and stopped cooking (fan still running) and displayed fault code E23. I searched online for source of the code to no avail. Anyone else had this issue?
Thanks,
Rick
Posted: 10:56 AM – Dec 25, 2015Rick,We had the Code E23 about five years ago and no one knew what the code was. Amana did not have a clue and they make the thing. I tried calling Amana back several different times in hopes of getting a different customer service person but the answer was always the same “the code does not exist”. I looked online in several different sites and came across a reply that made sense, Code 23 indicated the Park Power getting low during the cook cycle. If the cooking temp. was 425 to 450 the park power could not keep up with the demand. So now we use a lower temp to cook with and cook the food longer.

Posted: 12:18 PM – Dec 25, 2015As protection against low park power I added the Autoformer. http://hughesautoformers.com/product/50-amp-12000-watt/ This product removes a variable to potential mysterious problems.
Posted: 10:37 PM – Dec 25, 2015Nate – I think you nailed it. A bunch of large rigs have appeared at our RV park over the past few days. This morning, our circuit breaker tripped three time for our electric heater. It had not done so over the past month. I suspect that low voltage was the cause, and probably so with our convection. Thanks so much. We re leaving tomorrow for our trip down south and was hoping to avert any issues.
