- I have have a 2007 35sb3 and am thinking about having a system installed I know when carriage put them on at the factory they used the four point big foot system is this system ok for mine or should I use the six point system by lippert thanksPosted: 1:33 PM – Jan 12, 2013I don’t know about the Lippert system but the Bigfoot works great and the customer support is the best.Posted: 1:37 PM – Jan 12, 2013The six point system is usually used on frames that are as strong as a Carriage.Posted: 10:16 AM – Jan 13, 2013bgbassman wrote:I don’t know about the Lippert system but the Bigfoot works great and the customer support is the best.
I agree with the above. I just do not trust the Lippert products. My other 5th Wheel has a lot of Lippert parts and they do not work as they should.

Posted: 5:55 AM – Jan 14, 2013I have a Big Foot on my unit and I will never own an RV that does not have it.Posted: 7:52 PM – Jan 14, 2013It is my understanding that the 6 point Lippert system does not have as big or sturdy jacks as the 4 point Big Foot System. You may be able to get extra jacks added but the last I was told, it was really not needed.
We have had the BF on our 38′ Carriage since 2009 and really love it. We too do not care for anything Lippert but I’m sure there are those out there who have no problem with them at all. Hugs, DiPosted: 10:50 AM – Jan 15, 2013I agree with bgbassman, the big foot system is amazing and the customer service is great. I did have a few issues with mine on a new 36FWS but they came through ever time. The problems where mostly associated with improper grounding at install. My wife says I bought the unit so that setup was fast and easy enough that I a could get to the beer sooner. I have to admit my camping buddies are jealous, and they are still sweating it out at setup time.Posted: 11:53 AM – Jan 15, 2013I had a Big Foot system put in aftermarket on my 2008 Cameo. I really like it, makes setup much quicker and less stressful. The new control panel has some nice features, wish we had it. Maybe one day.B.W.Gentry
