        Phillip,

I realize it may be meaningless, but in your post you said to cut the BLACK wire. In the picture, you are holding the RED wire with the splice in it. Should I be confused? Does it matter?

        Thanks,
        Cliff

I have the same switch factory installed but I never use it. In pdi we were told it’s to be used during wonterizing. Still don’t understand- how does this kill switch help the unit from malfunctioning? Should I be using it every time and why?

Wish I could answer you on that one. All I know is that I had nothing but trouble with the auto level until I installed the switch. No problems since then. I was given this directive from Quadra. They must have felt it a fix, too, since they installed it on yours from the factory. Why yours doesn’t make a difference who know. You one of the lucky ones, I guess.

        jdpm,
The switch you installed is the silver on off switch, correct?? I have the red on off battery disconnect on my LF36FW. The battery disconnect switch is used when you winterize and store the coach in the winter time.

Correct, the Big Foot main power switch I installed is the silver toggle. The blue switch is for the front cap pin box light. Of course, the big round one is the battery disconnect which does not cut power to the Big Foot.
