Approaching 11 years old but believe worn through hose is caused by miles (40k) not age. All outer coating was worn away to show braided reinforcement where hose rubbed against metal frame or Bigfoot assembly. If younger/fewer miles, you may not need to replace hoses but should check to make sure your hoses are not rubbing on metal frame parts. Simply adding foam pipe insulation around the hose shoukd stop any future abrasion.
The longer hose wore through and was leaking whenever the pump was retracting the foot. Sizes below are for the rear lifts of my September 2009 build of a 2010 model year. I replaced all and noticed significant abrasion on all 4 rear hoses.
Hoses are 1/4 inch with #4 female JIC connections at each end. Make sure you get #4 JIC fittings not #4 SAE fittings. Oem Raise Jack hose is 32 inch long. Oem Lower Jack hose is 19 inches long. I bought hydraulic hose at Bunnell NAPA July 2020. Oem is 2500 psi. NAPA used 6000 psi hydraulic hose a bit stiffer and fatter so my requested lengths of 18 inches and 30 inches perfect. But both new hoses, like tge oem, rub on metal frame parts. I added thumb wide foam pipe insulation 8-inches long for 30 inch hose and 6-inches long for 18-inch hose. Foam insulation runs horizontally on the shorter hose protecting abrasion from abrasion above. Foam insulation runs vertically on the longer hose just above the pump assembly protecting abrasion from abrasion the side. The foam insulation comes in 4 to 6 foot sections in pkumbing departments at Lowes HDepot etc.
