        Hi all,
My 2011 cameo is parked on an unlevel spot. Both wheels on the left side are off the ground some. Is it okay to leave it this way for a couple of days or should I drive up on some boards so that part of the weight is on the suspension? I have noticed that the bedroom door is sticking a bit so there must be some give to the frame. I don’t want to tweak anything :|

It’s not a problem to have the wheels off the ground we do it all the time, but at the same time I’ve not had any problems with door sticking when I’m level and off the ground.

There is some give to the frame and the bigfoot does not always get you as level as it should. I use a small level to tweak things if it doesn’t feel right or if a door sticks…as happens sometimes with our rig.

In my 32FWS I have found the bathroom door to be a good indicator of level. When I leave it open it should stay where I leave it and not swing either way.

Wheels off the ground are not an issue.

I have a 2012 with BF. It is fine to have thChee wheels off the ground, but I am puzzled about the door. Check with a level to see if your RV is okay. I usually check on the island counter. If you don’t have a level, I am sure you would have a bubble fridge level. If it is not level, then move the RV when you can to a fairly level area and recalabrate the BF. As far as the door sticking. Open it slowly to see where it is binding. It is possible that a hinge is loose. I had a problem with mine latching the other day and noticed that one of the screws on the latch was loose. Look for the simple stuff first. :geek:

All the door hardware is fine and the trailer is level. The door sticking is very minor but I thought I’d ask the group to see what their experience was. Thanks to all for the replies. I feel better now :)

        Bgbassman,

I found that the bathroom door striker plate was mounted a bit high in the door frame. I removed the striker plate and filed the hole out more on the bottom. The door still strikes the plate below center, but there is now room for things to be less than perfect, as would be the case if the striker plate was properly located in the first place.

I did recalibrate big foot when it was on a level concrete pad. I presume that it was needed because when i upgraded bigfoot to the two sensors and calibrated that setup, i was not on level ground.

Our door going into the bedroom has always stuck a little, doesn’t matter if we are using the jacks or not. After your post I thought about it and took a good look and see that the bottom of the jamb is moved in. I didn’t want to take any wood off the door or jamb, “I think they’re veneer”, so I used some paraffin wax and it works great.
