Does anyone have any documentation or knowledge of how to work the Quadra BigFoot System in Manual Mode? Primarily for working the jacks individually. Can they be operated individually? I know you can work them in pairs. I had a situation where I had a wheel with slow leak. I wanted to have it repaired prior to our departure on our spring, summer, fall travels. I didn’t want to use the BigFoot to raise the trailer as we’re at our home base and our deck cover extends out over the 5er with little clearance. I used a bottle jack under the axle to get the wheel off after letting all the air out of the tire. I had the tire repaired (slow leaking valve stem) and left it off for 6 days to make sure it would hold pressure before putting it back on the 5er. In the meantime the I.S. System allowed the hubs to drop just enough that my bottle jack wouldn’t lift the 5er enough to get the wheel back on. In desperation, I went ahead and used the BigFoot to lift the trailer enough to get the wheel back on (ended up with all 4 wheels off the ground). I put the system in manual mode by pressing the “rear” button 10 times but wasn’t real sure where to go from there. I could move the jacks in pairs only going up further which I didn’t need. In manual mode it appears you can’t “retract”. I was finally able to get the trailer back down and level after numerous attempts but feel like there has to be an easier way. Does anyone have the button sequence for operating the system in manual mode? “Up and Down” and “Side to Side”

        Thanks,
        B.W.

Turn system on and let it run thru its diagnostic mode.

When lights stop flashing, push the button labeled (Rear) 10 times, or until the lights on the panel begin to flash.

At this point you operate each corner or pair of levelers individually to get the coach level. We have stayed for a month in one place with the tires on one side off the ground.

Front button runs the right front.
Right button runs the right rear.
Rear button runs the left rear.
Left button runs the left front.

Once you have the trailer level you can (store) a new program into the system by pushing the retract button 3 times. Let the air dump light stop before pressing any other buttons.

Sometimes when we are staying hooked up we just lower the rear levelers by pushing the rear button 10 times and lowering the rear two jacks. In the morning I just hit retraced for them and that way do not reprogram the system.

        Good luck

Here is a page right out of the Big Foot manual: Hope this helps as well as the prior post. Phillip

Just a quick add on. If you just want to move the jacks independently to raise the unit, DO NOT SAVE THE DATA. If you do, then next time you go to level, what you saved is what you will get. For example, if you have to want to just raise the rear tires off the ground, follow the directions above and then when through lower them back down and shut off the BF. Do not save.
