- We picked up our Cameo today from the RV repair shop where it has been for the past 7 weeks. I noticed that the front jacks were not down equal distance, thus the trailer had a list to one side. I believe that the jacks should be extended equally to not ‘twist’ the frame. Anyhow, some of the Bigfoot panel lights were flashing, and we could not get into manual mode, and to drop the front jacks, we had to use the emergency retract. The panel lights also would not respond to the panel off/on button.
When we got home, we ‘re-booted’ the panel by disconnecting the wires from behind the panel, then reconnecting. All is good now. This information may help someone.

Posted: 6:20 AM – Oct 18, 2016Hi Rick! Do you have the new style Bigfoot panel? If yes, I have a PDF document that lists a bunch of different scenarios for different flashing lights. Some of the solutions on it say unplug the interface cable for 5 seconds and then plug it back in. Sounds very similar to what you did.I will see if the document that I have is with the other manuals in the owners club. If it isn’t, I will get it posted (perhaps with B.W.’s help!).

ToddTodd,
If it’s the “BigFoot Gen2 Owners Manual” (pdf), we have it in our Documents & Files already. If its different from that, go ahead and forward it to me and I’ll make sure we get it in there. Thanks!!!Posted: 3:19 PM – Oct 18, 2016I sent a Big Foot troubleshooting guide to B.W. for posting in the owner’s club. It looked generic – hard to tell if it’s the original or the gen 2 version.Posted: 4:06 PM – Oct 18, 2016NOT TO HIJACK THIS TOPIC: Two files for Quadra BigFoot has been added to the Documents & Files of the Owners Club.

I had this problem recently and discovered it was due to a weak battery. The battery would charge and appeared good, but when tested it proved to be weak and would not hold voltage at high current. Evidently the Bigfoot system pulls a lot of current AND is sensitive to a low voltage level. This would result in the panel flashing. Plugging into “shore power” provided the necessary power but I had to unplug and replug the harness on the back of the control panel to reset the system. We have the older style Bigfoot system and panel on our 2010 Cameo 32FWS.BTW the battery was just low on water so a top off with distilled water and an overnight recharge fixed that problem.
