We were staying at Osage Cove (COE) Oklahoma supposedly until March 28. This morning at 10 the ranger knock on the door telling us the campground was closing immediately. All Corp parks in Oklahoma were closing. As a full-timer we started talking about what does it look like a month or two down the road for us. We are hearing more parks closing. Who would have thought. We thought we were in the best spot to stay healthy.

I would imagine a lot of campgrounds are going to close. Why take the risk to have people come into your campground and don’t know where they have been or who they have had contact with. Not a good situation.

We have read a lot about state/national park campground closures , and are now seeing posts on FB about private campgrounds not accepting new reservations. The one we are in now has closed access to all amenities (pool, clubhouse , etc . )
Hopefully the private parks will be able to stay open. Could be quite a problem for full timers.
