We all know how slow they are to roll in and out, I have some other questions about them. The material length (from the trailer to the roll up bar) on both of my awnings appear to be too long so that when it is fully extended it sags and even when it is rolled up enough to make it tight, both edges (toward the front and back of the trailer) also sag which causes it to flap and shake when there is even a small breeze. It seems from looking at other rv’s, they seem to be tight with no sagging. I have noticed this problem with almost every Cameo I have seen. Has anyone been able to resolve this without using straps to hold it down? Has anyone changed the struts for more tension? Any ideas about this would be helpful. I really hate it that I have to roll up my awning when everyone else has their’s out.
