The cooktop in the unit upon our purchase in 2022 was a 2 burner Amana, but was NOT what was originally installed by the factory. Had a funky cable and electrical box installed with a plug under the sink next to the hot water heater.
Also had a piece of wood installed to cover up the couple of inch space in the back of the electric Amana.
Supposedl, according to the build sheet, had the upgraded Amana 2 burner propane unit in it. May be the reason the cutout so large. 21.5w and 15.5 deep.
I think this was one of the early FWS Carr-Lite units so customization does not surprise me.
I worked up a sheet with all the options and cutouts to cover the larger than normal hole, and the Suburban 3309A seemed to be the best option. Plus made for the RV industry. Hard to find though.
There are no Corian scraps of this 2009 “oatmeal” (I made that up) top that I could find, but having it cut tomorrow morning and then see what fits. I can purchase a custom-made stainless surround for $409 from Micro Trim if all else fails.
