- I’m looking to install small 120/240 volt meter and an amp meter in the cabinet where the 120 volt breakers are to be able to monitor the voltage and current to the Lifestyle RV. Does anyone know of any high quality metering components out there that can be used for this purpose ?….Thanks, RichPosted: 1:25 PM – Sep 04, 2013Save yourself lots of time & $$$$, subframe, just plug one of these in to any conspicuous outlet. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/it … itor/24900Posted: 3:32 PM – Sep 04, 2013Thanks for the info…I’m a retired electrician so I’m just looking for the parts…I do want to monitor current as well as voltage…..RichPosted: 10:55 AM – Oct 18, 2013Rich – I have a surge guard which protects me from high and low voltage and I also have a Kill-a-Watt which will let me monitor indiviual appliances that have a 120V/20A plug and monitors voltage and usage. I have been looking for a Kwh meter that I could install or plug into on the incoming line and have not found one that I like or the cost. It really should not be that big a deal so I have actually considered buying a meter putting it in a box with 50A female and male plugs. I just have not found what I wanted.Posted: 2:53 PM – Oct 18, 2013notruffinit wrote:Rich – I have a surge guard which protects me from high and low voltage and I also have a Kill-a-Watt which will let me monitor indiviual appliances that have a 120V/20A plug and monitors voltage and usage. http://www.rvlife.com/columns/tech-tips … meter.htmlPretty much what I considered to put together. I think I should be able to find smaller components to save space and make it a little more convienent. Thanks for the link
