        Question: I put our 2011 Cameo 34S in a muddy ditch along side our pull through drive in rear of property. Still raining. It looks like if I can raise the rear jack on right side that it may be enough to tow the rig back onto the pavement. Problem is that front jack is working but rear light is blinking but I can’t get it to operate. I’m new to this unit and have not had experience using the leveling system. Any suggestions? The rig is listing to the side I want to jack and I can’t tow it without it hitting a gate post. I will need to jack it first to get the tires back on the pavement. Tks

        Can you get a floor jack or bottle jack under the rear frame to jack it up and put boards under the right side tire?

        Do you think I can use rear levelor to raise it? I will work on the jack idea in the morning. The wheels are up to hub in the mud. It is leaning on the steps. Probably have to replace step unit eventually. Just getting back from RV dealer after replacing Mor/ryde kingpin. Bummer!

        You can put the system in zero mode and can control each jack independently. Possibly you can get it up enough to put some lumber under the tires. Don’t get too aggressive because you can twist the frame too much. Might be better to raise the whole side. Be careful!!!!
        • Turn panel/system on and let system run thru its diagnostic mode. Lights will flash clockwise around the

        green foot.

        • When the lights stop flashing, push the button labeled “FRONT” 5 times. Then press the button labeled

        “REAR” 5 times. Once you have done this all lights on panel will begin to flash. This means you have

        reached in the system what is called “ZERO MODE”.

        •At this time you can operate each corner or pair of levelers individually. For example:

        – Front indicator operates the right front.

        – Right operates the right rear.

        – Rear operates the left rear.

        – Left operates the left front.

        On our 2011 Cameo to put the system into “zero mode” we need to hit the rear button 10 times, might need to see which model you have. When it stops raining here I will take a picture of ours and post it.

        Here is the procedure for the other model. It’s been so long since I had to do mine I forgot this is how mine works. Luckily I have this posted inside the compartment where the control box is so I don’t have to rely on my memory LOL.

        Rear button 10x for manual mode
        FRONT button runs right front
        RIGHT button runs right rear
        REAR button runs left rear
        LEFT button runs left front
        Retract button 3x for store

        To raise both:
        Front – front and left
        Rear – right and rear
        Left – rear and left
        Right – front and right

        I suspect that you know this, but do not pull unit, even a little bit, with the Jacks down.

        Given the mud, set a big this sheet of plywood or 2×12 under the Jacks. Yes jack up both rear to level, then both Jacks on the sunken side until you can get something (hopefully blocks of wood filling the hole and a long 2×12 plank) under the tires. Weight must be completely back on the tires and Jacks up before pulling it out.

        Do you have the upgraded control panel? If so, manual mode is found by scrolling down the menu.

        A flashing light generally means that side is low (surprise), but it could be the sensors are screwed up due to extreme angle and you are locked out. Sometimes just turning system off then on fixes, but if not, you need to unplug the fuse to the big foot, wait a minute and plug it back in). That fuse is not in the cluster of fuses, but rather an in-line fuse all by itself by the sensor in the front storage compartment- just follow the wires back from the push button panel you are pressing buttons on.

        You are supposed to start leveling from a slightly more high position. If in too high of a nose high position, sometimes you need to lower the nose to get the rears to do anything. Hopefully the reset of fuse will give you enough time to get the rears down before the system prevents you from doing so. If not, you will need a bottle jack on the frame. Be careful.

        I also got the impression from his first post that he was maybe wanting to pull the rig with the jack down but thought no, he wouldn’t do that. This will do sever damage to the rig and jack.

        This is a photo of the older panel that Chip is taking about below, for some reason on ours we need to push the rear button 13 times, not ten.

        Be careful — when we use this mode on firm ground we only move them no more than 2″ per side at a time to keep from twisting the frame.

        No I was thinking of putting a board with casters on the front jack but I have eliminated that idea. The truck is straight but I can’t get traction in 4 x4 as it is spinning in the mud. Just off the concrete. So I need a tow. I’ve got them lined up but the steps could be toast if I can’t get them off the concrete. So I’m trying to jack it up with separate jack to see if I can raise the wheels to the level of the drive. Rain stopped and I’ve dug it out. Trying to figure out the Bigfoot Systme. Thank to all for getting me to manual mode.

        Agree with the above. As mentioned put the jacks in manual mode. Be sure no moisture go onto the board. If the board is damp from a rain leak it could be shorting out. Disconnect the lead from the battery, remove the board and be sure it is dry before trying again. Also, if all jacks are working except one, be sure the sensor piston near the jack is not jammed. If all else fails call Quadra. They have been very helpful when I had some issues.

        Thanks to all of you who responded to my Cameo in the ditch episode. I want to thank you for helping me figure out the Bigfoot Leveling system. Now I’m a believer. It worked well and raised the tires off out of the mud enough for me to put 4x lumber under them. I drove it out today without the use of roadside assistance. What an ordeal!

        I had to go to Manual Mode in order to use only rear and right front legs to get out of ditch. Now that I’m back home the panel shows three green blinking lights after diagnostic start up but will not let me into Auto. I have changed the fuse in and out. House power is on. Front is obviously down but not rear. I did retract all when I was hitched. I have tried going back and forth from manual to auto but no auto. Just blinking lights. Tried to contact Quadra but they must be closed. I want to get the 2011 Cameo 34 SB level. Any ideas?

        Steps were ok. Bottom bracket slightly bent but nothing I can’t bend back with a rachet cable. They work fine. No damage. Lots of mud to clean off hubs, tires and ME! Now the Bigfoot won’t go into Auto Mode. Need to troubleshoot that next. Merry Christmas!

        You can only get to auto mode by making sure the rear jacks are up. Should be no problem unless the rear switches are bad. Good luck and Happy Holidays.

        Check your previous post about being stuck. Rear jacks up all the way and auto should work.
