Well we are in a park at Zolfo Springs Florida for our first trip with the Lifestyle.
Its only 120 miles but gives us a good test drive. I am amazed at how much better the brakes are on theses 8,000 lb Dexter axles.
We are in an older park so it was a good exercise in getting parked from these narrow drive lanes with a trailer that measures 39 ft over all.
So far SO good.

Excellent! We will be heading out for to the FL Panhandle for our annual Memorial Day week trip. Very excited since our last trip was in late January. We have new 17.5 Sailun tires installed this week to replace the aging out GY114’s. Also, the pin box is rebuilt now.
We do a number of the state parks in FL so hope to run into you sometime, Phil. Enjoy, keep us posted and post some photos. I’m Phil, too

As requested some pictures.
We have a group of about 10 families that meet at a different location once a month for a 4 day visit.
This is the first time in this par in Zolfo Springs Florida.
The wife loves this large kitched but she also like a larger TV in the living room.

Your dog didn’t look like a happy camper at all in that pic. 😂 Oh and think about replacing that old style toaster with this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008C9UFDI/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_i_9STWEbBS1M5Q5
It toasts better than any regular toaster and you can do so much more with it. Usually can be found on sale for around $115.

We have owner our 38RLS since it was new in 2014. It has been a great RV and we have had very little problems with it. If you have a tankless water heater, there is sometimes problem with that which I can help you with. Also, if you have the combination lock on the door, it will sometimes not work. That is usually due to the contacts on the bottom of the hinge side not being clean.
Good luck and happy RVing.

Hi
Thanks for the comments.
We purchased this unit knowing it was built in the last model year and may have some problems but it has the box frame and we like it.
The unit had sat on the sales lot for 18 months without any PM.
There was water intrusion at the front cap and one slide wall.
We purchased at a price that would allow me to spend about $20,000.00 and that has worked well the cost so far hasn’t made $5,000.00 yet.
After having the slide repaired it became apparent there is no provision for operating the slide manually. Getting a pipe wrench on the drive mechanism is not an option because the whole thing is mounted against the frame. This is not the AL-KO operator and Dexter has purchased all of AL-KO’s assets in the US and as far as I can tell by calling them is there will be no support.
As for the toaster we have quit purchasing high end small appliances. We went thru 3 expensive coffee makers with very poor performance and have now a $9 coffee maker that is doing very well. LOL

The door to the crate is not locked She can come out anytime she wants but that is her “room” and she goes in and out as she pleases. Not bad for an 18 month old puppy.
