Front Landing Jacks

We went to help a friend load her 5er onto her truck for the first time this year.  I found that the front jacks would not extend (but will retract).  The motor wants to twist upward and the gears are not catching.  I didn’t have any tools, so will have to go back and look closer tomorrow.  I plan on using two floor jacks to raise the trailer high enough to engage the Kingpin before taking things apart.  I have found a web site with a YouTube video on how to dismantle the cross bar, gear box, and remove the motor for inspection of all.  Any suggestions on what to look for would be appreciated.

I also went online to look for replacement parts and the look to start at $750 for the motor, gears, and one leg.  Any recommendations on brands or sites that sell?  Thanks in advance.

I have found other threads with lots of pics and info on the front landing gear that has me troubleshooting in a positive way.

I went back to the trailer yesterday and found that when I put a 3 ton floor jack under the front and removed the weight on the landing gear it allowed the landing gear to extend without problem.  As soon as there was full weight, the landing gear no longer would extend.  The trailer batteries (12 volt), one is brand new and the other fully charged.   Looking like I need to remove the motor, gear box, and the leg to see which parts are worn…
