That’s great, hope to get mine soon!

Received mine today. I installed it but did not re-calibrate it. I will do that tomorrow. My wife had the truck that had the levels in it. I want to make sure it is as level as possible before I do the reset! :)

        Question for y’all.

My new circuit board has just come in. Now to calibrate it.
Recognizing that our frame is supposed to be sturdy, how did you level your trailer before putting in the new board?

I normally put each front leg down so as they just touch the floor, then raise the front enough to unhitch.
Then I put the rear legs down until each just touch.

I then put a level down on the floor inside the trailer, just in front of the fridge.
Then I level from side to side with the each pair of side jacks.
Then I level front to back with each pair of front/rear jacks.

Has anyone checked to see if they rack the frame doing this?

When I’m finished, I can take the level and put it all over the trailer on different surface and find nothing matches.

I realize the fridge is important, but DW says if the stove ain’t level my job isn’t done.

It sounds like you are doing it correctly but I use the stove as the final check. The fridge should work fine even if it is slightly off perfect balance.

        Sheff,

Like Don says the frig works fine slightly off level so if your DW says the stove must be level, then level the trailer so the stove is level!

I got my new censer today, install was easy, and now my Big Foot auto levels like it is suppose to. It is sure great to have a company like Big Foot take care of there customers in todays world.

Question for the folks with Bigfoot Levelling system. Ii have a 2011 Cameo 37RESELS with the upgrade (2nd sensor, new control panel) Bigfoot system. Every time I level it lifts the wheels off the ground. Is this normal. Is there a way to adjust the Bigfoot system so the wheels stay in contact with the ground, which should make the unit not shake as much. It seems risky being in such a big/heaven unit that is totally lifted off the ground, and shaking around on 4 hydraulic jacks.

Wouldn’t bother me to be off the ground with the jacks. Spent a week off the ground when I was installing my Kodiak brake system. No problem.
Sounds like your Bigfoot system is defective call Quadra.
For stabilizing, also try JT strong arms, plug-it-right stabilizers etc. They do work well,

Got my new sensor today, did not get any instrutions, is the calbrating the same as the first upgrade befor this up grade? If you did get instrutions would you mind passing them on.

Hear is some thing to think about, we all spent X dollars for the second sensor new panel upgrade. From what I have been hearing here we do not use the second sensor, so we paid x dollars on the new panel and back to one sensor.
Maybe the old panel and one sesor was all we needed so our X dollars may have just been a wast. Is the new system that much better than the original now that we are back to one sensor? The new panel is harder to read in the sunlight, but it is gives us a little more fexibility and control over the landing gear, and a cool key phob. Just wish I could get some cash back for being a” test group”.

I didn’t get any instructions, but I called the factory to find out what to do.
They said level the trailer before you install the new unit.
Leave the old rear sensor unconnected.
Plug everything in and turn it on.
Tell the unit there is NO rear sensor, and it will calibrate itself.

I hear what you are saying about maybe spending more money than we needed to, but how do you know how they price their units? They could have charged us the same price without the rear sensor and I’d have still bought it.
I think the better control with the new manual operation more than made the cost of the upgrade worth while. Even though I don’t use the key fob.

I am just so happy it now works correctly that I’m not rockin’ the boat.

Now all we need is a panel that can be seen in bright sunlight ie: brighter, and with backlit buttons..

X2. Would also be nice if the reconnect feature actually brought the pin back to within an inch of its unhitched position, as the manual says.

Thought I would give you folks a heads up. I have had my new front censer in for several weeks, auto level worked a lot better but still would put my front end way low, I tried re programming several times with out any improvements. Finally called and talked to Rick and he told me sounded like my censer was not mounted level, he said when trailer is level the censer has to be level. I checked and it was a little high on the front that was making it put my front end too low, I shimmed it out to get it as level as possible and is now working like it is suppose to. Just thought if any of you are having trouble check and see if it is level
