      Hello

When someone came to the door I left the water running in the kitchen sink.

I got back in the trailer just in time t hear a bang noise and the trailer shook.

I assumed the gray water tank had failed. However after removing the basement wall and the outer portion of the belly cover I find no leaks.

What I did find in the belly is one of the straps for the gray tank has failed.

My question is this strap OEM or added by the previous owner?

Here are pictures of the top and bottom of the wast tanks.

      Thanks

      Phil P

I guess I should have included the following when I mentioned the WD that would make it on topic. LOL

Remove the WD and use that drain pipe to make a “Barber Shop” vent down thru the floor. It would come out in the front near the fifth wheel hitch.

On the 35SB3 there is are belly straps and mind were loose. I added the foam pipe insulation and a center support to be snug them up. After a black tank failure, I added a third strap in the center of the two factory ones. It’s no fun repairing a tank but the replacements are $600 plus stipping. Make sure you use the correct glue and epoxy.
