        Grey Tank Drain Pipe Cracked

        We wiped the water off and it came back. The pipe is cracked along the glue seam. Had this happen before on something else that was PVC but not ABS.

        The marks on the pipe are from cutting the glue away with a knife.

        I had my 3″ ABS crack twice recently. I replaced it with SCH 40 PVC the second time. We’ll see how it holds up.

        Did you replace just the section between the tank and the valve with PVC?

        My cracking was on the outbound tube, after the valves, not between them. I did use “Universal” glue to attach the PVC pipe to ABS fittings and it worked fine.
