We are hooked up to city water and have been for several months with no problem. We took showers earlier today, washed dishes and flushed the toilet, but a few minutes ago there was no water when I tried to flush the toilet. I then found that there was no water at the bathroom and kitchen sinks. Thinking that the water may be off in the RV Park, I went outside and verified that there is water with good pressure at the pedestal which my water hose is connected to as well as at the end of the hose which connects to our city water fitting. There is no sign of water leaking either inside the unit or on the pad under the unit. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

I would try the following things. Is there a kink in the hose? Is there a clog in the screen washer?, pressure valve inlet either clogged or leaking?(mine started leaking last week, easy replacement), check valve on the water pump? Is the tank filling up? The other thing I would check is do the faucets work by using the pump and pumping out of tank? That would rule out any issues with the water pipes.

I am sure others will have additional ideas but that is where I would start.

No kink in hose as there is good flow coming out the end of hose. I assume that the screen washer and pressure valve are at the fitting on the RV that I connect my water hose to. I will check that tomorrow morning as well as following your suggestion of putting some water in the tank (which we have never used before) and using the water pump (which we have also never used) as we have never used the unit to travel in and have always been hooked up to city water. Thanks!

I’ve seen cases where the one-way valve sticks in the closed position or the park water pressure is so low that it won’t open the valve.

You can replace the cheap / small one-way valve that came with the rig with a 3/4″ or 1″ for much better water flow.

I removed the entire water fill assembly which includes a filter screen (there was not a single particle of debris or sediment in the screen) as well as the water pressure reducing valve. I then reconnected the water hose to the removed assembly and turned the water back on and NO WATER came through the valve. The water pressure here at our park is very good (I estimate well over 40 psi) so that is not an issue. The inescapable conclusion is that the pressure reduction valve has failed. I talked with the parts guy at the La Mesa dealership where we bought the RV and he said that you cannot buy the pressure reducing valve as a separate part and that they have a huge problem obtaining parts of any kind from Evergreen. It looks as if I will have to contact the parts folks at Evergreen and try to buy a new complete water fill and housing assembly directly from them. Wish me luck!.

Contacted Joann at Evergreen Parts and she is sending me a new water fill assembly. Cost is $50 plus shipping.

It looks like the same part, but too late as she already shipped the part to me. Too bad as I am an Amazon prime member and could have saved $18 on the part plus who knows how much for the overnight shipping!
