Might check the front off door side storage compartment. Ours has a sliding door inside the compartment. Inside the sliding door is the pump somewhere near the pump is a fitting for winterizing the camper. If the valves are open for winterizing the pump will suck air and not pressurize the system.

Water pumps going bad is common. It is typically not super hard to replace, although you may have to make like a contortionist to access it. I have had to replace my pump twice in one year full timing. It is typically the pump part that goes bad either the diaphragm or the pressure switch, not the motor. I suggest you buy another pump and swap them out yourself to get you going and familiarize yourself with the process as this won’t be the last time you do it. You should be able to get down there with a flash light to see what model you need. Replacing your water pump yourself will cost about 100 bucks and and hour or two of your time. Then if you want something to do and save about 70 bucks buy a rebuild kit for the one you removed and say is still running. Rebuild the pump side of your old one and store it for the next time it stops working. Some of the old hands around here suggest adding a valve between the pump and your plumbing and leaving it turned off unless using the pump prolongs the life of the pressure switch by preventing your city water pressure from constantly depressing the pressure switch button. This has been a source of frustration for me as well, but it is what it is. Some nice folks at an rv dealer swapped my second pump out because it was still under warranty, they come with a two year warranty, so save your box and receipt. They let me give them my oldest pump with box and receipt last time so I did not have to remove the non working pump until I had the new pump in hand.

Another thing to try in the interim is to open the outside hose and try sucking on it with the cold valve open while the pump is running to see if that will help it prime. It should prime on its own, but I have got mine working before doing this, it’s worth a shot.

Both of these suggestions are under the assumption there are no valves preventing its functioning correctly.

        Good luck.

Nice yes I am very handy and should have no problem replacing the pumps and it was my first thought that seat vslve seals or a diaphragm was burned out in the first few minutes of realizing the situation. How ever yes in the port side basement area opposite side of the water tank / pump accsess I have noticed a fist size hole and find 3 ovAL handle valves. Any clue what posision they should be in for operation . AND thank you again on all advisement’s

Are you saying you do not know where the switch is to change from city to tank? If so, the switch is very likely in the same compartment as your other hookups. It is probably a black plastic knob or handle that rotates. Embossed into the plastic surrounding the switch are several words. For instance, “City”, “Sanitize”, etc. If it is set to “City”, switch it over to another word, perhaps “Normal” or “Tank”. If the pump is working fine, it will take a few seconds for it to prime, before pressurizing and pumping.

In my 2015 LS37CKSL we have 3 valves at the water heater. Also do not have a Anderson type change over valve described by remoandiris. Thought also about the strainer on the suction side of the pump if equiped with one. We had same issue and didn’t have to replace anything because of loose fittings.

It sounds like Lifestyle incorporated the valve to prevent city water pressure depressing the pressure switch on the water pump into their design. BW should have an owners manual available for your unit if you have access to the file area. If not, BW is also happy to have new subscribers, I believe it’s $30 for the year for a base level membership.

I presume these valves would be discussed in the owners manual but have no idea if that is actually the case.

Hopefully you have owner manual. Check section in the manual for winterizing it has a good picture where to positions the handles.

I ended up replacing the pump, yes the 4 chamber actuator was not working. like it was said $100 done and then after sending a scathing survey to the dealer they gave me a replacement. So I have my Spare.. Not worth really repairing them as the 3 replacement parts equal to more than a new one the the actuator that most of the time wears out is $ 48 was just better off getting 2 new ones and start a parts box with good left over components

Oh also where do I find this file tab to the access to owners manual, as no I got a file box with some factory components install docs, but no general owners operation manual, it would be ecstatic to find one, also and as you can see I’m a member or I would not have access to post. :) in the first place.

The water pump should last a long time. We have the original in our 2011 Cameo and it was losing prime on occasion, so I got a diaphragm kit and replaced it in January and all is good.

Are you looking for the Owners Manual for the Water Pump or for your RV? Your Profile shows you have a 2013 Lifestyle but your original post above, you say you bought a 2015???

Be sure you are Logged In on the Owners Club then follow the below link to the page for Lifestyle Related Files. There, you’ll find the Owners Manuals for both years.
