How To Cool A Blue Ray
        #0, by traveler, 05 December 2012 08:49 AM
Our Blue Ray entertainment center stopped working and I sent it into Samsung for repair. They fixed it and said that it had over heated. In the Cameo the Blue Ray is in a cabinet without a lot of air circulation. I was looking on line to buy a cooling fan for a laptop computer; you know the kind that the computer sets on. All the fans I looked at get their power from the USB port on the computer.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to cool that area off that I can plug into 110?

        Thanks

Not that will be quiet. We just leave the glass door open…but ours is above our heads. If you have a ground level cabinet, perhaps replace the glass or solid front with a decorative mesh screen.

I would go with the above, but if you really want to have a cooling fan, like the ones used in older computers, try to look up or get hold of a fan called a “muffin fan”. They run on 120V, are about 4 inches square and will cool your feet off.
