We just purchased a 2015 LS38RS and the fresh water tank was filled as part of the PDI. We would like to drain it but this was not covered in our walkthrough and we never received a Lifestyle owners manual. Just like the Cameo there are two low point drains for the water in the Lifestyle but unlike the Cameo there is not a drain in the water hookup area. So my question to Lifestyle and others is how do I drain the fresh water tank?
Posted: 7:36 AM – Feb 24, 2015We have a 2013 36FWS and our fresh water drain valve is in the utility centre. At the bottom there is a valve that lifts up and the fresh water will drain out. It drains slowly!Posted: 8:50 AM – Feb 24, 2015we have a 37cksl. To drain the tank i’ll use the pump to either put the water in the grey tank or use the utilty hose to put it to the ground. Once the pump starts losing suction I’ll turn it off and open the drain valve. Because the drain line doesn’t connect to the bottom of the tank you’ll still have some water left in the tank. I’ve heard of a person using the leveling system to tilt the trailer towards the water tank side to get more drainage from the tank, but not sure why it was that important to go to that point.Posted: 5:45 PM – Feb 24, 2015Comoco wrote:We have a 2013 36FWS and our fresh water drain valve is in the utility centre. Success, it is located near the rear drivers side bigfoot jack. Thanks to Bill Stout from Lifestyle who found this out for me and is sending me the manual. Heard nothing from Gary Stanley.
