- Completed the installation of the Haier residential fridge in my Cameo. This fridge does not have door handles but pull pockets on the top edge of the lower door and the bottom edge of the freezer door. I made a simple latch to screw into the unused threaded holes for the reversing hinge and it works like a charm .
The total cost of the project was under $400. The fridge is a 10.1 cu.ft. (about 2 cu.ft. larger than the Norcold that was there)

Now I will add an inverter and transfer switch and that project will be done.

ChipPosted: 5:48 PM – Apr 09, 2016Great job! This resolves the discussion (read “argument”) that my wife and I have been having. I would like to change over to a Residential Fridge but she did not want to give up the pantry. This seems to be the perfect compromise.
