How can I determine if my 2003 Carri-Lite M-36MI3 is prepped for a generator and assuming it’s not, it is realistically possible to add an Onan, or is that just not worth trying to do?

Assuming it’s not worth messing with, how much power could I get my just starting the diesel truck to use it as a generator?  Is that even possible?

        Justin,

It is unlikely that your model year had gen prep.

You can always subpanels for gen or solar, and transfer switches forvsame, and add generator or solar.  Jystva matter of fishing wires and finding good locations.

Your truck wiring is too small and thus a poor charging system for charging batteries for running an inverter in boon docking situation.  Better than nothing, but a big fuel waster versus a small Yamaha etc.  Running large gauge truck  wires into the camper changes that equation, but you will only better charge batteries for running 12 volt lights and small 120 volt ac appliances; never run an air conditioner.
