I’ve not seen this on other RV’s we had, but our Cameo’s LP detector has a note to replace it by June 2015. If you have a 4-5 years old rig you might want to see about replacing it.

Now I just need to find a replacement for ours.

        Traveler,
We got our replacement (in wall mounted) from Amazon.

I ordered a replacement Safe-T-Alert Black Combination CO/LP Alarm from Dyers RV parts, they had the best price I could find on line.

Thanks for the heads up. I replaced our Safe-T-Alert Combination unit “CO/LP Alarm” two years ago. I think I will buy separate units next time, from the price it would be cheaper with the same protection.

The detectors have an approximate 5 year lifespan. They should be replaced at least every five years. I just purchased new CO and LP detectors for my 2010 trailer. I purchased the same make model as OEM from Amazon.
