Well, just when I was getting over Evergreen closing it’s doors 5 months after buying a LS39FB I get kicked again. On April 18, 2016 with the approval of Allan from lifestyle warranty we dropped our LS39FB off to get some warranty work done. Today in the mail I got a letter from the repair shop stating that they put a mechanics lien on my LS39FB. The reason for the lien is because they (repair shop) did not get paid the 2400 dollars by lifestyle. …..

Ok, first the disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, this is my thought and opinion only.
I don’t think you are responsible for this bill. They are trying to scare you into paying. The repair shop had (at least) an implied contract with Lifestyle to perform warranty work at no charge to the customer. When they ceased operations and declared bankruptcy, the repair shop should have become a listed creditor. The court should be distributing any assets to the creditors, any loss the repair shop incurs will be written off.
Personally, I wouldn’t pay the bill until I check with a real legal expert, please keep us updated.

Every State will have its own set of lien laws, and what they apply to. I would review the laws, of the State where the repair was done, pertaining to vehicle repairs.

Does the repair shop still have custody of your trailer?
Did you sign an invoice/contract when you dropped off the trailer? If you picked it up already, did you sign an invoice/contract when you picked it up? If so, what does it say? In this contract, did you agree to take financial responsibility for the repairs?
