- I just moved and hooked up and now my lights are flickering. I have read that it could be my converter or my batteries. Where is the converter on my rig? I see the inverter is mounted in the front storage compartment but I can not located the converter. I have not had this problem with my lights anywhere else. Should I call the electric company to come and check my shore power? My surge protector is not giving me any errors and is not shutting off. The lights are driving me crazy. What should I check????Posted: 7:21 AM – Dec 11, 2016Your inverter is also most likely your converter/charger. A good place to start would be to unplug from shore power, remove the battery ground for safety and check all the connections at the inverter and batteries. Could also be a loose connection at the fuse panel. You can remove the fuse panel and check the connections there.
