We are ready to have some updates done to our 2010 Cameo 35SB3 and are looking for any recommendations where to take it for the work.

We are full-timers and currently in the San Jose, California area.

The work we will be having done:

Titan Disc Brakes for the Dexter 7K Axles.

Replacement of both Carrier A/C’s with new 15K Heat Pump Air Command  units.

Replace/Repair the Splendide Washer/Dryer (it has a bad rubber burning smell when drying)

Installation of an I-Series Black/Grey/Fresh Water tank monitor (we have the system)

New front end cabin to frame Grade 8 bolts. I’d like to have a 1/4″ thick steel plate welded to the bottom of the rails to help support the cabin to the frame so they don’t break again.

        Optional:
Installation of a Full Set of new 3M decals, including removing the old ones and polishing the RV. We have the decals .
(This one can wait and I’ll take it to Arizona next summer)

There are a few other odds-n-ends that need attention, but those are the big ones.

I figure we would stay in a Hotel for as long as it takes while all the work is done.

Any suggestions on a reputable shop that can handle all of this work?

Suggest picking 1 or 2 items to test the repair shop first.

A good RV shop will find it hard to spare the number of people needed to get the work done in 1-2 weeks.

Our 2011 has the plate, surprised yours doesn’t.

Mine had a 1/8″ thick plate as best as I recall, but it was broken off when I pulled off the cover. That’s when I found the 3 broken bolts. (two on the left, one on the right).
I put in the best I could get at the local Hardware Store, but they are Stainless and not so strong in shear strength like I need.

If it takes longer than 2 weeks, I’m good with that. I just can’t seem to find some place that wants to take my money and do the work.

I’d do it all myself, but since we are full-timers and RV parks don’t allow you to work on your rig, I can’t.

Seems odd to me, but I can’t find anyone in Northern California will do the brakes on-site except possibly Camping World San Martin.
(I’m still waiting for them to confirm they can do the brakes.)

Any ideas will be gladly welcome.

Scratch that, Bob at Bay Area Mobile is going to do it.
I was a bit worried about CampingWorld because they had to check with a lot of people before they said they “thought” they could do it.. not too convincing to me.
