Is there any way to increase the volume of air from the furnace to the floor vent in the bedroom? There is very little heat coming from the vent. There apears to be no obstructions.

I was looking the other day at some floor vents at Home Depot. There was one that was made out of oak that looked like it would fit and I can control the airflow. I want to put them in the living room where the airflow is higher and push the air to the bedroom. The problem with the one I was looking at is it sticks up about ½” I think the slide would miss it, but not sure. I’m still looking for one that will fit and is level with the floor and I can control the amount of air coming out. Keep you posted if I find one.

Right now we are using a small electric heater in the bedroom.

The problem with the floor vent for the bedroom in my 36 Max1 is that they ran a duct that supplies the bath cabinet toe kick vent and the bedroom. If you follow that line from the plenum there is also a Tee in the line and a open duct into the basement area I’m assuming to supply heat to the mechanical area. Next time I have my basement walls off I am going to cap the open line and will take a few pictures of that area. I would love to run a dedicated line to the bedroom from the plenum but it would be very difficult to get to it to hook it up to the bedroom register because it’s located above the fresh water tank and I would have to pull the whole basement wall out that covers the tank. We have an electric fireplace in the bedroom where the chair would be for the built in desk so it hasn’t been a big problem for us.

I did not have a problem with the flow of air so much out of our bedroom vent, however, it was the location that was an issue. The vent was right beside the bed as opposed at the foot of the bed. As I posted in a previous thread, I relocated it and found the identical vent on ebay so all would match. I just did a search and I think this is the vent I purchased that looks just like those in the Cameo. I could not find a perfect match at the big box stores. Here is a link if interested. Phillip

I had 2 vents not blowing any air. So I was in basement and removed the walls, for another reason.
And they weren’t connected to furnace, so I figure after putting them back it will work.

This was probably off topic, but was reason for my problem!

On our previous TT we had the same problem. Removed the grate and couldn’t see anything. A leaf blower at one end & DW with a vacuum at the other, we discovered all sorts of interesting things the mfr included free of charge.

I was in the basement and found out 2 vent hoses weren’t attached to furnace.
