      Hello All,

I’m so glad to find this group. I am getting ready to retire and hit the road! I have a 1991 Carri-Lite that I and My dog Hank will be roaming around in very soon. The trailer is in pretty good shape but still needs some TLC. I am curious if there is a forum here for those of us that have “older” Carri-lites.

        Welcome Keith,

you will find that regardless of brand or vintage many of the same systems are used. Your best friend is the search engine but that can be tricky because a lot of the individual string text that was searchable was scanned as non-readable pdf before moving it to the new system years ago.  All topics are still searchable however, but often the topic lacks the detail you are searching for.

I pays to review the forum structure and layout.  “On the outside,” “major appliances,” etc all are groups that have a long list of topics focused on that grouping. Reading just those topic headers can be very informative, even more so when you actually open a topic string of voices, problem issues,  q&a, solutions, etc by forum members.  I will paste that layout link in a second

            Keith,

Welcome, and I also have a “senior” 5th wheel (1996 Cashay 28RK), and rebuilding it was a joy. Not kidding. These older units are built REALLY well and I appreciate working

on a unit that my repair will last. Ours still looks new on the inside nothing really “falling apart” (I have rented newer units and own a 2009 36MAX1, that is not the same build quality of the 1996)

Yours looks gorgeous and someone obviously took care of it and stored it inside.

We will help in any way we can.

            Jack
