(can set up Frame/Rack in 15mins)Two 185 watt PanelsPosted: 3:17 PM – Dec 29, 2013The set up really functional. The only thought I have is the out gassing from the six Trojan 105’s. From every thing I have read, the out gassing from the batteries needs to be contained and vented to the outside. Not only expulsion potential but also corrosive to electrical components. I suspect you could find a container to house the six batteries that has a lid and could be vented. For y additional pair of 105’s I used a Rubbermaid tub and used some vacuum hose routed to a vent I placed at the front. I also vented it out the bottom. Added a watering system so that keeping the batteries topped off is easy.Posted: 8:14 AM – Jul 05, 2014Very nice set up… What do you use your original battery tray for?Posted: 9:32 AM – Jul 05, 2014jimmyb wrote:Very nice set up… What do you use your original battery tray for?I’m using it as a miscellaneous for my fresh water connections (extra y’s, 45’s, spray nozzles, etc. in small container) and sewer connections (sewer hose slinky, adapters, clear 3 1/2″ short connector, etc.). Would liked to have used it for my tool box for easy access but I already have to much weight forward of axles.
