Posted: 2:24 PM – Nov 08, 2017I have said this before. I am very impressed. That RV will be worth a bomb. But will be the talk of the town.Posted: 4:07 PM – Nov 08, 2017My wife thinks I’m abscessed with all work I do on our 5th wheel. Then I showed her all the work you have done on yours.. she said I’m not even close!! You do very good work! I get a lot of inspiration from you.Posted: 7:10 PM – Nov 09, 2017Thank You, appreciate the comments.Posted: 12:58 AM – Dec 18, 2017Getting ready to install the FW tanks. The original tank never drained completely. After pulling it out I realized a bottom dump was needed. There isn’t much room so I had to use 1 1/2″ valve with 1″ fittings. Off the shelf fittings placed the valve too low so I made fittings. The XPS foam is cut so that when the trailer is level the bottom of the tanks have a 1/2″ slope towards the dump valves. One of the furnace duct is used to blows heat at this end of the tanks. Also plan on adding 12VDC or 120VAC heating pads to the valve.
Bottom of the FW tank #1. This tank is over the front axle.
The XPS at the bottom was cut with a 1/4″/ ft slope. This is to drain as much water out of the tank as possible
The fitting is for a 1″ dump valve
At the left is the box for the black and grey tanksB.W.Gentry
