I don’t blame you for wanting to keep the Norcold if you can remedy your issue as it does offer more flexibility as far as power options are concerned.
In our case, it was GOOD RIDANCE and no more cooling issues with the 18 cu ft with ice maker Samsung. In our case……that’s total freedom but we don’t dry camp and have solar to power it during daylight hours.
