Relays located behind basement wall LS38RE
Hello
I removed the basement wall to get a look at the waste tanks and found theses relays. There are 2 boards with 2 relays each.
Here is a picture can anyone tell me what they are for?
Thanks
Phil P

Phil, I was just about to post this on your behalf. I want to know what there are for, too. I hope you get some replies. Thanks. Phil M

My guess is the slides just because that what had green wire on our trailer.

I know that on my 2013 LS36FW I don’t have anything like that for the slides. I did the wire upgrade to the slides , so unless they changed something, that setup could be for something else. Rich

Hi
The crew that is working on the trailer was out yesterday. I showed them the picture of these relays.
They say they are for the slides and they have had to replace several of them in the past mostly because of damage from moister.
They say they are used by a number of other manufacturers.

That has be part of the boxed frame change that Lifestyle made. It must be a totally different slide system from the earlier models. Rich

Hi
I questioned it at the time because I have 3 slides and only 2 of those units with 2 relays each.
It would not necessarily mean a complete change in the slide system. I installed a relay system on our old 5th wheel to operate the landing gear in order to handle the load better because we carried a heavy model train in the basement and when we moved that from the basement to the TV I had to extend the front landing gear until the basement floor was level with the TV.

Hello
These relays are for the living room slides. I have removed the basement wall again to take to a friend that does wood work to put a door in it so I can get to these 2 circuit boards. I have unplugged them and tried the slides the bedroom still worked but the 2 in the living did not work. I plugged them back in and both slides go back to work.
My switches on our LS38RS are over the entrance door.
Unfortunately AL-KO has sold their US assets to Dexter axle I am not sure if I can get support from Dexter on these slide operators or not.
