Removing rug and replacement 2009 Cameo 35SB3

We have used our coach quite a lot and with a golden retriever have found that the carpet in the main living area is soiled and were thinking of replacing it

Just wondering about the best materials to use ie easy to clean and maintain …

Has anyone tried removing the kitchen peninsula to facilitate the floor replacement ? its quite solid im not sure about the mounting screws etc whether they did it from underneath or inside the peninsula …

I thought the new floor would look nicer if installed under the peninsula in the kitchen

I would be interested in hearing about other members experiences and pictures
