removing tv

can anyone help. have a 2012 32fws,  need to remove samsung tv and cd player. can not figure out tv removal. very tight mount over fireplace mantel. thanks.

If it is hanging on a wall mount there should be two screw clamps that hold it fast to the bottom rail. It hangs on two horizontal rails that are screwed to the wall. Run your hand along the back of the tv, you should be able to feel them. Remove the two screws and lift up the tv off the top rail. Should do it for you. Hope that helps

I have a 2010 32 FWS and the tv mount has a handle on the left hand side behind the tv that you lift up and then the tv swings out from that side revealing an inner storage area as well as the backside of the tv allowing you to access the screws that attache the mount to the tv. Hope that helps.

I found two black levers/tabs far up behind the TV on either side. I had to reach up behind it, pull the levers forward, then lift the TV off.
