Replacement for the Frigidaire Microwave
https://carriage-lifestyle-owners.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=3749
Posted: 4:50 PM – Nov 28, 2017Well my Microwave MWV150KB took a dive on me.I’m looking to replace it. I just thought I would check and see if any of you have done anything different with yours, or replaced it with something different?
Thank you in advance.
Posted: 10:09 AM – Dec 31, 2017I have a 2008 Cameo and just replaced the microwave a couple of months ago. I found a Panasonic 1.3 CF, 1100 watt unit that was just a fraction of an inch larger here and there but fit in the opening without any modification. A little bending and I reinstalled the metal trim so it looks original. Your model may be no longer available so you will need to measure it and just take a little time on the web shopping for a replacement.Posted: 8:33 PM – Jul 20, 2018Ours Frigidaire also just dived, what did you find to replace yours? Anyone can chime in :)Posted: 7:08 AM – Jul 21, 2018Over the range microwaves are a standard 30″ to fit between the cabinets. You will find the difference in the height and depth. So any will work but you want to check dimensions if trying to get the exact same dimensions as the old one.
When ours dies, I’m going to get micro/convection combo.
Check Lowes as they have a ton to choose from and their website offers details on dimensions, etc.
Whirlpool now offers a low profile model that is only 10.3 inches tall compared to an average of 16-17 inches tall.
Have fun shopping!B.W.Gentry
